First walk-off of ’09

Wow. What a night!
I have a spot in Fenway Park where I like to go when there is a chance of a walk-off home run. It’s high up in the left field corner and it looks down the third base line towards home. Last year I was frustrated on a number of occasions when the walk off turned out the be a single, or none at all, and I spend a lot of innings up there waiting for nothing.
It’s all good. Tonight makes me one for one in ’09 from that spot and puts the Sox on a eight-game winning streak.
Damn. I’m so wired I’m not getting to sleep any time soon.
